Hi, I’m Cassandra and I’m the Language Assistant at Maimonides this year. I first came to Córdoba in 2003, through the British Council and as part of my course at Exeter University, to work in the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas here. After that, I returned to the U.K. to finish my degree in French, Spanish and TEFL Studies. I have since worked in The Netherlands and the U.K., before deciding to move back to Córdoba in March 2008 with my boyfriend, who is Cordobes. Needless to say, I’m very happy with Córdoba and the Andalusian lifestyle here!
I’m really pleased to be at Maimonides and enjoy the lessons that I have with the first cycle of the Bilingual Project. We do Natural Sciences, History and Geography, Maths and IT in English which I think is hugely beneficial to the students! There are lots of other exchange and Comenius projects happening here too, so the future is very exciting for everyone at Maimonides!
Hi, I’m Kai and I’m from Germany. I live in a small village near Stuttgart, which is in the southeast of the country, in the state Baden-Württemberg. I live there with my parents and with my brother and sister. I study Economics at the University of Stuttgart but at the moment I’m attending courses at ETEA within the Erasmus-Programme.
I like sports a lot especially running and football. That’s why I play football in a local team here in Córdoba, called C.D Alcázar. When I came here last september I didn’t know a lot about Spain and the Spanish language but very soon I got accustomed to life in Córdoba. I’m very happy that I was given the chance to work here at Maimónides and I really enjoyed the time working with teachers and with students. I like Córdoba a lot, it’s such a beautiful and friendly place!. I really hope to come back again!
